Campbell is recalling more than 3.600 soup cans, after they have found out something worrying. Namely, as a result of the ‘undeclared and misbranded allergens’, they put out the recall alert. In fact, milk, which is considered as an allergen, is found in the soup, although it is not listed on the product label of ingredients.

As a result of the possible negative effects, the soup was considered as a Class I recall alert. This recall indicates that there is high probability that the use of the product will have serious, harmful, and side effects on the overall health, or even cause death. On 20th of April, 2017, Campbell was informed that a great number of costumers had complained about the soup ingredients. In addition, their complaint was related to the fact that not all the ingredients of the soup were on the soup label. Moreover, the soup label said ‘Campbell’s Home-style Healthy Request Chicken with a Whole Grain Pasta’, even though the soup can had ‘Campbell’s Home-style Healthy Request Italian-style Wedding Spinach and Meatballs in Chicken Broth’. It was a type of soup that the costumers did not want to buy, but also a type of soup that contained harmful ingredients.

We are talking about any soup can of ‘Campbell’s Home-style Healthy Request Chicken with a Whole Grain Pasta (18.6-oz)’ with best of date by 13th of February, 2019, found on the can bottom.

The soup cans, which were issued to recall alert, have a print ‘EST 4R’ on the bottom of the cans. They directed to the stores in Florida. This is the soup, which is in the cans.

Even though there have not been reported any incidents related to the soup yet, the Department of Agriculture’s Food and Safety Inspection Service of USA (USDA) warns the costumers not to use the products, but either to throw it or to return it for a full refund.

If you know someone, who has had any allergic reactions after consuming the soup, you should consult a doctor immediately. Please, share this post so that other people will be warned about the recall alert.
