The University of Medical Science in Iran conducted a research. Scientists divided the participants in 2 groups of women with weight issues.

The women from the two groups had healthy diets, eating less than 500 calories a day, for three months. The difference between these groups was the consumption of spices.

One group consumed 3gr. of cumin combined with 140 gr. of yogurt in the morning before having breakfast. The other group drank yogurt without consuming cumin.

The results were amazing! The group that consumed cumin lost fourteen pounds more than the other one. These women lost about 14% of fat, in comparison with just 5% fat lost in the other group.

These women achieved their amazing results because cumin is rich in filosterole, which can prevent cholesterol retention in the body. This is why cumin is so efficient for speeding up the metabolism and losing the extra pounds.
